IT Ci siamo lasciati all’imbarco della bellissima nave “Hurtigruten“. Perché? Semplice! Alessandra ed io ci siamo imbarcate per una crociera di 2 giorni alla volta dei Fiordi Norvegesi ricchi di paesaggi indimenticabili… come quelli che si vedono nei film.
La Nave era enorme, accogliente e con una Jacuzzi all’aperto con una temperatura di 25°. La voglia di immergermi in quell’acqua e godermi la vista dell’aurora boreale era tanta ma credetemi, la stanchezza si e’ fatta sentire! Il freddo oltre a far venire una gran fame porta spossatezza e cosi’ dopo una doccia veloce ci siamo godute una cena tranquilla.
Ciò a cui non ho voluto assolutamente rinunciare era vedere l’aurora boreale (l’orario ideale per ammirarla oscilla tra le ore 22:00 fino all’una di notte calcolando che le ore di luce sono 4)… Erano ahimè solo le 21:00 e ci sembrava che il tempo non passasse mai! Morale della favola: una volta toccato il materasso sono caduta in un sonno profondo tanto da perdermi quest’occasione unica! Non potete capire il dispiacere la mattina seguente… Ad ogni modo non ci siamo date per vinte, dopo tutto avevamo ancora tre giorni di tempo per poter vedere quella meraviglia!
Prima tappa della crociera: Capo Nord! Un luogo stupendo, dal paesaggio indimenticabile ma anche tanto freddo! Guardate le foto che ho scattato e ammirate che spettacolo di colori offre Honningsvåg la prima cittadina che ci ha accolte con una temperatura di -4 gradi e da qui abbiamo preso un bus per Capo Nord!
Ed eccoci arrivate! A Capo Nord si ha un panorama indescrivibile con la vista delle isole “Svalbard” (che ci separavano dal Polo Nord) su uno strapiombo che si affacciava al mar glaciale artico! Un vero e proprio capolavoro della natura! Abbiamo ricevuto anche un attestato – con data, timbro e nome – di essere arrivate “in quel paradiso”!
Il bus ci ha riportate poi sulla nave alla volta di… Eh eh… La destinazione più fredda in assoluto! Ma questa e’ un’altra avventura! stay tuned! il viaggio continua… con nuovi amici e tanto divertimento!
EN We left each others on board of the “Hurtigruten” ship. Why? It’s easy! Me and Alessandra embarked ourselves for a two days cruise in the direction of Norwegian Fjords rich of unforgettable landscapes… the same we see in the movies.
The ship was huge, comfortable with an outdoor Jacuzzi with a water temperature of 25 degrees. The desire to bathe into that water and enjoy the view of the aurora borealis was big but… believe me, tiredness came soon! The cold makes you hungry but also exhausted so after a quick shower we enjoyed our quite dinner.
What I really didn’t want to give up was seeing the aurora borealis (the ideal time to enjoy it is between 10:00 p.m. ‘til 01:00 a.m. calculating that light hours are 4)… It was only 09:00 p.m. and it was look like the time was hanging a bit heavy!
Moral of the story: once I touched the pillow I felt fast asleep to loose this unique opportunity! You can’t imagine how frustrated I was the morning after… Anyway we didn’t gave up, after all we still had 3 days to see this wonder!
First cruise stage: North Cape! A fabulous place with an unforgettable landscape but also a lot of cold! Look at the pics I took and “taste” the colors show Honningsvåg offers, the first little city which received us with a temperature of -4 degrees and from here we got a bus for North Cape!
Here we are! At North Cape you have an indescribable landscape with the “Svalbard” islands view (which divided us from North Cape) directly on a cliff on Arctic Ocean! A nature masterpiece! We received as well a certificate – with date, stamp and name – that proves we reached that “paradise”!
The bus took us back to the ship for going to… Eh eh… The coldest destination in the world! But this is another adventure! stay tuned! The trip continues… with new friends and a lot of fun!

I have never been that far North in Norway, but I took a bus to go from the East of Norway to the West coast in early spring. I spent 12 hours or probably more on the bus. The scenery was amazing!!!!
