Bridgestone pensa a tutti con le DriveGuard

Eccomi qui a raccontarvi la mia avventura tra Montecarlo e Cannes per Bridgestone!
A chi di voi non è capitato di bucare un pneumatico della macchina e non saperla cambiare, oppure (per noi donne) anche sapendolo non riuscire nell’impresa?
Ecco, a me fortunatamente non è mai capitato, ma mio padre mi ha sempre ‘supervisionata’ facendomi montare i pneumatici della Bridgestone (che sono i migliori); in più ho le runflat (ne ho parlato QUI) che mi permettono di fare 20 km con la gomma a terra, così ho il tempo per arrivare a casa o raggiungere un gommista e quindi sostituire il pneumatico! Ma questi pneumatici non erano adatti per tutte le macchine…
Quindi La Bridgestone con un invito davvero carino e accattivante mi invita a scoprire una novità tenuta ben nascosta… l’invito non riportava nulla di particolare ma conoscendo bene Bridgestone non poteva che essere solo una grande sorpresa. Sapete bene che tante volte il nome è una garanzia (come in questo caso).
Quindi con un pullman luxury – in 6 anni di attività come blogger non avevo mai visto un pullman di questo tipo – equipaggiato con salottino, hostess e schermo 50 pollici per conferenze oppure per giocare con i video game siamo partiti! Non vi dico che viaggio bellissimo abbiamo fatto, senza dimenticare che avevamo anche la rete WiFi e anzhe tanti stuzzichini (patatine, bevande varie…).
Arrivati a Montecarlo ci aspettava una serata veramente stupenda con una cena e spettacoli per dare a tutta l’Europa (perché era un evento internazionale) il benvenuto!
Poi una tappa al Casino, dove ho anche avuto la fortuna di vincere alla roulette il numero fisso ahaha!
Finita in grande la serata… ancora non avevamo scoperto la grande novità… io ero curiosissima e non vedevo l’ora di scoprire l’arcano.
La mattina, dopo un’ottima colazione, ci siamo dirette verso Cannes… ed ecco la sorpresa… E adesso capirete anche la mia premessa iniziale!
Io penso che tutti voi – sia uomini sia donne – avete la paura di bucare e non sapere come fare… E’ notte fonda, forate una gomma, siete soli… il panico di come fare e cosa fare ce l’hanno tutti! Ma non preoccupatevi che da oggi questo problema lo risolve Bridgestone con DriveGuard.
DriveGuard, che, in caso di foratura o danneggiamento, consente a tutte le auto dotate di TPMS di proseguire la marcia per 80 km a 80 km/h. Il nuovo pneumatico mette di fatto i vantaggi dei runflat, fino ad oggi riservati solo ad alcune marche e modelli di auto, a disposizione di tutti gli automobilisti che possiedono una vettura con i sensori di misurazione della pressione delle gomme. Un pneumatico completamente riciclabile come PFU, cosa che non avviene con altre soluzioni, elimina anche la necessità di tenere a bordo la gomma di scorta, diminuendo così il peso dell’auto e il consumo di carburante. “Montecarlo è stata scelta come location dell’evento per sottolineare l’importanza di questo lancio per Bridgestone, ma anche in quanto giusto mix tra passione per l’automobile e per lo stile di vita”, ha dichiarato Stefano Parisi, direttore di Bridgestone Europe South Region, spiegando che all’evento hanno partecipato 300 giornalisti provenienti da tutta Europa e suddivisi in due giornate: automotive e lifestyle. Il nuovo Bridgestone DriveGuard può essere proposto solo ed esclusivamente ai clienti che si presentano con vetture dotate di TPMS, sia diretto che indiretto, e anche questa “limitazione” è a conferma della qualità delle prestazioni della gomma anche in caso di foratura o danneggiamento. Senza TPMS, infatti, un automobilista distratto potrebbe non accorgersi nemmeno di avere forato e rischierebbe di superare quegli 80 km che sono il confine massimo di percorrenza, sufficienti per risolvere l’imprevisto, ma soprattutto per raggiungere il gommista il prima possibile per poter riparare la gomma anziché doverla sostituire.
Ho testato Bridgestone DriveGuard nei bellissimi paesaggi della costa Azzurra e vi dico che è impressionante perché non sembra affatto di guidare una macchina con la gomma a terra: per fortuna che continua a esserci il suono tipico della gomma bucata, ma è stato lasciato apposta per ricordarlo al conducente, perché veramente non ci si accorge assolutamente… Inoltre la macchina non sbanda e la sicurezza è sempre sotto controllo! Che dire, ragazze, ma anche i maschietti, fidatevi… Dovremmo essere molto ma molto contenti i questo nuovo penumatico… meno male che Bridgestone è sempreattenta ai suoi consumatori finali… E il giorno dopo prova con le macchine d’epoca! E’ stata un’esperienza che ricorderò per tutta la vita, per le macchine guidate – di una bellezza incredibile -, per i meravigliosi paesaggi e luoghi…

EN Here I am telling you about my adventure in Monte Carlo and Cannes with Bridgestone! Everybody is familiar with flat tyres and the problem of not being able to replace them, or maybe, as long as women are involved, even if you know how to repair them you wouldn’t be able to do it! Well, I’ve been lucky enough because it never happened to me but I was well-prepared by my father who taught me how to mount Bridgestone tyres (the best on the market), moreover I’ve got run-flat tyres (take a look HERE) that enable the vehicle to continue to be driven for almost 20 km when punctured, this way you have the time to reach a tyre shop and replace it! However, these tyres can’t be mounted on any type of car.
That’s why Bridgestone sent me an invitation to disclose a very well kept secret…the invite itself didn’t mention anything in particular but knowing Bridgestone I knew that had to be a trick to conceal a great surprise. Well, you probably know that Bridgestone is more than a brand, it’s a guarantee…and this event was no exception.
We’ve travelled on a luxury bus, I’ve been a blogger for six years now and I had never seen anything like this bus – featuring a lounge, hostess and 50 inches TV screen for conferences or gaming! I can’t describe you how great this journey was, I’ll just say that we had WiFi and way too many snacks (chips, drink etc). We had an amazing evening ahead of us in Monte Carlo: dinner and shows to welcome the whole Europe! That’s right, it was an international event. Later, we stopped by the Casino and I had a lucky strike winning at the roulette with a single-number bet ahaha! At the end of the evening we still had no clue about what we were about to see…I couldn’t wait to uncover the mystery. The morning after we had a delicious breakfast and went to Cannes…here’s the surprise…and now you’ll finally understand my premises!
I bet that each one of you – men and women alike – are afraid of getting a puncture and not having a clue as what to do…getting a puncture in the middle of the night, you’re all alone… How are you going to do it? What are you going to do? Help! No need to panic, starting from today Driveguard by Bridgestone will solve your problems. Driveguard allows all vehicles equipped with TPMS to carry on for up to 80 km after a puncture. As a matter of fact, this new tyres offer the advantages of run-flat tyres, only available for certain automobile manufacturers and models, to all cars with a Tyre Pressure Monitoring System. Moreover, this tyre is totally recyclable which is not as common as you may think and it gets rid of your spare wheel reducing both weight and fuel consumption of your car.

Keep in mind that the new Bridgestone Driveguard is specifically designed for passenger cars with TPMS, both direct and indirect types, a requirement that guarantees the best performance of these tyres in case of puncture. Without TPSM a driver may not be aware of a flat tyre and could exceed the maximum speed of 80 km/h that ensures the vehicle safety and allows to reach a tyre shop as soon as possible and repair your tyre instead of replacing it.
I’ve tested Bridgestone Driveguard myself amongst the beautiful landscapes of the French Riviera and I can assure you that it’s impressive, you can’t tell that you’re driving with a flat tyre: thankfully there’s the typical sound of a puncture alarm warning the driver but it was left there just as a remind to the driver because you can’t really notice the difference…by the way, the car didn’t swerve once and it felt like you’re very much in control of your car, this way safety is assured! What can I say, girls…and boys, too…we should be very thankful of this new innovative tyres, trust me! It’s a good thing that Bridgestone is so much dedicated to their customers…and the day next…test with vintage cars! An experience I will remember for the rest of my life, I was given the chance to drive gorgeous cars – simply amazing – while enjoying beautiful landscapes and places…
