The store covers an area of approximately 1,600 square feet on two floors and houses the collections of ready-to-wear clothing for men and women, accessories and products for personal hygiene.Founded in 1978 with outlets in London, the United States, Canada and Japan, Banana Republic has established itself as a brand that offers a wide range of versatile garments, characterized by a high-level design and luxurious fabrics at affordable prices – a linear style that works very much appreciated from morning to evening.Heads basis of prestige and sophisticated seasonal collections of clothing and accessories that include handbags, shoes, jewelry, sunglasses and personal hygiene products. The Milan store will also host Monogram, a collection of basic items that represent the best of Banana Republic. Each item is made in limited quantities using the finest fabrics, the most refined techniques and attention to detail.The store associates modern and traditional elements that evoke the essence of contemporary luxury brand, utilizing unique architectural details and rich materials that are inspired by Italian tradition while remaining faithful to their American roots. The addition of modern elements of design incorporates the original architectural details of the property.The luxurious black and white marble floor incorporates parts of local sandstone, the walls are covered with rich walnut panels. A skylight illuminates the central staircase, a chandelier highlighted by specially designed by Charles Edwards. Antique displays, combined with details in black lacquer and nickel, giving a good note, creating a feeling of art deco home place, synonymous with modern elegance. Photos in black and white, edited by Michael Hoppen, highlight the link between American and European style.The uniqueness of the customer service offered by Banana Republic strengthens the well-known luxury. A multilingual concierge welcomes customers by providing expert advice on the whole range of Banana Republic, but also the surrounding area. Expert personal stylists will be available for free advice on wardrobe, with the possibility to make appointments in person or by phone. The service also includes changes in animals.
In dicembre 2010 aprirà in corso Vittorio Emanuele a Milano il primo punto vendita italiano di Banana Republic. Il negozio si estende su una superficie di circa 1.600 metri quadrati su due piani e ospita le collezioni di abbigliamento prêt-à-porter per donna e uomo, di accessori e di prodotti per l’igiene personale.
